Can I use APEX RD for production hosting?

APEX RD plan is meant for development and testing use only.

Can I use APEX RD-R30 plans for HIPAA or PCI DSS hosting?

For HIPAA or PCI DSS eligible hosting, please contact us for a quote so a customized solution can be offered.

If I order APEX RD can I add an SSL certificate or domain later?

Using APEX RD does not allow you to have your own domain so you will use our general URL for APEX UI access. You would need to upgrade to APEX RS or higher to have domain name hosting, which can be done at any time without a downtime or migration.

I have multiple developers, can they all work concurrently under APEX rd plan?

Yes, there is no restriction how many developers can use APEX UI for development purposes

What is Oracle APEX tablespace quota?

This refers to your oracle database tablespace size that is allocated to your schema

What is datapump backup?

Data Pump Export  is a utility for unloading data and metadata into a set of operating system files called a dump file set. The dump file set can be imported only by the Data Pump Import utility. The dump file set can be imported on the same system or it can be moved to another system and loaded there. The dump file set is made up of one or more disk files that contain table data, database object metadata, and control information. The files are written in a proprietary, binary format. During an import operation, the Data Pump Import utility uses these files to locate each database object in the dump file set. This is included in all Oracle APEX hosting services.

Do you take backups daily?

Yes, our backups runs daily and retention is 7 days.

Can I use APEX mail send feature with my Oracle APEX Hosting service?

Yes, you can use apex_mail.send or UTL_SMTP. 

Who handles domain hosting / mapping?

Revion will handle the mapping. You just need to open a ticket and we will configure the domain mapping and server side redirect if needed to your app. This service is included with our Oracle APEX Hosting service. (APEX RS and up)

What about APEX, Oracle update and patches?

This is a managed service. Revion will handle all APEX, ORDS, Database updates and patches.  This is included with all Oracle APEX hosting packages.

I dont see anything about CPUs or RAM memory?

This is a shared/multi-tenant service. Therefore, resources are shared between all tenants. However, we closely monitor any performance issues and quickly address them if there is an issue

Can I upgrade my oracle APEX hosting to a higher plan?

Absolutely you can upgrade at anytime. There’s no downtime involved.

Can I add more storage to my Oracle APEX Hosting plan?

Yes.  Our plans are highly customizable. You can add more storage at anytime.

Can I import my existing workspaces when I purchase your plan?

Yes.  Please open support request, attach your existing workspace export file and our team will import it

Can an SSL certificate be used for my domain?

Is mail hosting included with APEX hosting?
