Frequently asked questions about Windows hosting with Revion

No. We host Windows workloads in environments that make sense for you. That can be in our managed cloud, in your own cloud accounts, or alongside other platforms you already use. The goal is a stable Windows home, not forcing a big re-platform.

Yes. Many customers run SQL Server and Oracle together for reporting, integrations, or vendor tools. You bring the licenses; we provide the OS, storage, security, backups, and day-to-day operations.

We take daily image-level backups with 7-day retention by default and store them off the primary server. If you need longer retention or additional recovery points (weekly/monthly), we can extend the policy.

Yes. We maintain a patch schedule, apply Windows updates, and keep a hardened baseline for the OS and firewall. When needed, we coordinate maintenance windows so updates don’t surprise your users.

Not by itself. This Windows plan is designed for general production workloads, but it is not our HIPAA-ready or PCI-focused offering. If you need to handle ePHI or strict PCI data, you’ll want to use our dedicated HIPAA-ready hosting environment, where we add the extra controls, documentation, and agreements (including a BAA) required for compliance. We’re happy to design a Windows server inside that environment for you.

We can add additional Windows servers for app, database, or reporting tiers, or design a highly available cluster. You keep the same operational model—monitoring, backups, patching—while we scale the architecture around you.
