The college’s existing WordPress hosting environment struggled to keep up with modern traffic requirements and security expectations. Outdated configuration, limited scalability, and inconsistent maintenance routines led to performance degradation, longer page load times, and increased risk of downtime, particularly during registration surges.
Because the site is publicly accessible and integrated with institutional workflows, RCCC was vulnerable to cyberattacks such as brute-force login attempts, plugin exploits, and malware injections. Internal IT resources were limited, making continuous updates, vulnerability patching, and backup validation difficult to maintain consistently.
RCCC needed a hosting provider that could handle lifecycle maintenance, harden the environment, and architect a performance-focused infrastructure capable of scaling rapidly when needed.
